Kate has a history of working for organizations that are mission-driven. After years of nonprofit work and serving in the U.S.Peace Corps, she earned her master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College. Her experience in change management and project management with a systems-based approach was nurtured in Pittsburgh, PA where she worked for an urban farming educational non-profit, Grow Pittsburgh. She lead several strategic plan initiatives that created infrastructure to streamline and support the growing needs of the organization. As the Program Director at Hannah Grimes, she is responsible for managing the business incubator program, and developing the organization’s workshops, seminars, and projects that support entrepreneurs and business owners in the region. Kate also serves on the Monadnock Food Co-op’s Board of Directors.
