Join area employers for a monthly gathering to address common (and maybe sometimes uncommon) Human Resource needs, particularly for small and medium-sized businesses. Attendees are encouraged to bring “real life” concerns, questions, and ideas to help make the discussion as relevant as possible to them and others. Each month will feature an employment-related topic followed by an open forum for Q&A.
When: Second Wednesday of every Month, 5:00 pm -6:30 pm
Cost: $25.00, scholarships available.
Topics for the next session will be decided at the end of each session, so come with ideas and questions!

April’s Topic: Onboarding and Orientation- Setting Up For Success
Early interactions with your new employee have a significant impact on how well they perform their job and how much they enjoy being on your team. During this overview we reflect on the goals of the orientation process and how to best meet them, including an overview of required and recommended paperwork.
In addition to sharing critical HR knowledge and answering burning HR questions, this monthly gathering also strives to nurture connections between attendees. Come to any and all meetings that resonate with you to enhance your HR management skills and connect with a business peer network.
